My post from 8 years ago: Yesterday I hiked a mountain to sitesee in Athens, Greece. 2 years ago before Dr. Hooten I could not have done that. I had debilitating allergies, migraines and joint pain...none of which bother me any more. THANK YOU HOOTEN FAMILY! Today, I am still an extremely happy patient at Hooten Family Healing. Like all things with moving parts, I need maintenance and Dr. Hooten keeps me going. In the last 8 years I've had less illness and downtime than all my years prior to finding Dr. Hooten. When I listen to him, I enjoy less pain, easier weight loss, clear thinking, better overall health, less allergies, easier sleep, and exceptional mobility. I fell 10' down while up on a ladder and never went to a doctor. Recovered on my own. 2 years later, I asked Dr. Perini to xray my back so that I can see what kind of damage I had done. Well, I had a crushed neck bone and crooked spine so we started treatment. After a month I was back to normal and plan on keeping my spine healthy we regular treatment. In short,I learned that most of our pains and sickness come from a misaligned spine, which sends signals to your body to repair itself. They have lots of testimonials on video and on their wall of miraculous results. Absolutely life changing! I am only 31 and had been suffering (notice keyword is 'had') from chronic back pain, sciatic pain, inflamed sinuses, severe menstrual cramping, low energy, and several other issues for more than 15 years. I had tried just about everything else to alleviate my pain and gain better health and finding Dr. Hooten's healing center has been a god send. I have been receiving adjustments for about 1 year now and cannot believe the difference in my health and overall in my life. Dr. Hooten and his staff are a big blessing to our lives. It all started with my breeched baby at 37 weeks… but he helped me have an all natural and non medicated birth. It was something I really wanted and aimed for as my first birth. Doctors told me otherwise… to the point where they said to me that it was very rare that baby could turn that far along and that I would most like have a C-section. However, I knew we could do it and I would do everything I could to make it happen. Dr. Hooten supported me from then on and adjusted my little one just days after birth! We love him, Christine, Jen, Dr. Angela, and all the wonderful staff ❤️ They truly make it feel like you’re part of their family. They truly care. And we appreciate the help they give us. I wish I had known Dr. Hooten back in 1999 before I had my cervical spine fusion surgery. Before I met him a few years ago, I was getting 1st, 2nd and 3rd Opinions from surgeons to have a 2nd spine surgery because I was in so much neck pain. A good friend of mine had bugged me for a couple of years to go see this Dr. Hooten guy. He said, he is awesome! So I finally went with my daughter who was actually needing some help too so I just tagged along as moral support for her. Well, that was the BEST thing that I could have done for my body and my life! Dr. Hooten and his team has got me back to NO PAIN and with NO SURGERY. Heal the Spine and let your body heal itself. Oh My Goodness. I was very skeptical of someone "Adjusting" my neck and bones but PLEASE give Dr. Hooten a chance to help you out. Your body will thank you!! I love going there. It makes me feel so good just walking in and smelling the scent of the office. I know that while I keep going I'm going to feel better, look better, and more than anything get my body back to getting closer to operating at its optimum level. I love going there because he believes like I do. It's about being conscious of your body and what you can do to keep it healthy. I'm going to take advantage of the exercise time available. My family and I have been going to Dr. Hooten’s for 15 years. He has kept us healthy with weekly adjustments. I have Severe neck problems and getting adjusted weekly keeps me pain free and able to do all my crazy sports. My grandson came to hooten when he was 3 months old, he would spit up all the time and had reflux, two adjustments later he never spit up again. He also adjust yours dogs for you! And my pit bulls lived to be 18! The best part is you don’t have to mess with insurance or have appointments once you get on maintenance, you can go at your convenience! So much to say about Dr Brian and his amazing staff!! I have been seeing Dr Brian on and off since 2008. Hands down he his THE BEST chiropractor that I’ve seen. I’ve trusted him with not only myself, but my children, and my grandson when he was only a month old! Dr. Hooten and his team have the most passionate and caring staff. I love how Dr. Hooten is “all in”for his patients! He just wants what is best for you! Long story short, if we did not know Dr. Hooten my child, Brody, would have hearing aids. With his advice from getting adjustments and letting God do his work, Brody, has perfect hearing and did NOT need hearing aids. That is just one example on how Dr. Hooten is so great, but he helps so many people in different categories. By far the best chiropractor that I have ever been to! He and his team won’t let you down! My gosh! Where should I start.... When we walk in and immediately felt like family. All the staff definitely care about our health beginning with the spine of course! Also another thing that really hit my heart and I really wanna share even though it’s a bit personal. Dr. Hooten met my oldest son and was concerned with the CONDITION of his Heart. At 1st I didn’t understand I thought since Dr. Hooten is a Dr. that he was talking about his heart from a “Doctor” perspective, but my husband understood and answered Dr. Hooten. I’m grateful for the whole Hooten family staff. After herniated disc surgery, the pain was returning again. I stopped in out of curiosity, looking for some kind of help beyond more surgery and medicine. I credit God for directing me in that day, and Dr. Hooten’s methods with relieving pain and keeping it at bay over time. I’ve visited weekly for over a year and a half, and it has truly given me a way to continue living without meds or going back under the knife. Went in for X-rays yesterday and had my first adjustment today. I was seen right away both times. I was diagnosed with subluxation. I have been experiencing neck pain on and off for a few years and had a few adjustments before at a different office. They never did X-rays on me, so I wasn’t aware how bad my condition was. So glad I decided to get it looked at again. I was reading the testimonials from other patients and it confirmed I made a great decision with the office I chose to go to. First visit and the spinal compression in my neck is already better. Curve in my lumbar is improved, and for some reason, I am also breathing more deeply. I am very impressed with the Hooten Family Healing center. Hooten Family Healing Center cares about their patients. They tell you of your progress. They are very happy to answer any questions you might have. They make you feel like you are part of their family! I feel very comfortable going there. Dr Hooten has been such a help in improving my overall health and well being. I was having severe neck and hip pain, and now it’s hardly noticeable. I am moving so much better. Since beginning my visits nearly a year ago, I’ve been able to stop taking daily asthma medications. Normally I get bronchitis every winter, but not this year. And without medication! I love going to Dr. H. He is loving, caring, genuine and legit. He honestly cares about your well-being. You are not just another customer. For 5 years I have gone to Dr Wall at Gateway Chiropractic in Fort Worth. I moved to Dallas and Dr Hooten was highly recommended by Dr. Wall. I went today 5/21 to Hooten Family Healing and everyone has been so nice, friendly and very welcoming. I am very pleased with the office staff, Dr. Hooten, cleaning and sanitation policies and the vibrating plates. Dr. Hooten is definitely knowledgeable and everything he preaches made sense to my wife and I. He doesn't "treat" your sicknesses, like what most doctors do, and with the residual prescriptions that continues for most folks lives to just "treat" their issues. Hooten doesn't want you to continue to "sweep it under the rug" per say, he wants & will do it THE RIGHT WAY, & that is to CURE/HEAL you! We've been under his care since May of 2010, & immediately we were seeing phenomenal progress of healing. My wife was told at the age of 14 that she would never be able to have children. At the time we started under Hooten's care we had been married for 5 years, and we never were using contraceptives during our intimacy. Well, within 4 months of maintaining the most important part of our body, our spinal cord, my wife and I were expecting! We now have 2 beautiful daughters! Praise God for Hooten and Maximized Living! Dr. Hooten is a healer and not just a chiropractor. Recently I started getting water in my knee again, a problem that I have suffered since my teens. Usually it requires getting the knee aspirated. I wen tot see Dr. Hooten and he adjusts my leg and gives me some specific stretches for the knee. Within 24 hours the knee has returned to normal, functions perfectly and no swelling! Meeting him and following his advice has been the best thing for my health, I cannot thank him enough for all he has done for my wife, our two dogs and me. ~ Joseph M

Love, love, love Dr. Hooten and his staff! They are all truly concerned about my health and pain. Having had 7 spinal surgeries with cervical and lumbar fusions didn't solve my pain problems, but Dr. Hooten's chiropractic treatments have tremendously reduced my reliance on pain meds. I was referred to Dr Hooten due to chronic neck and back pain. I have only seen him 3 visits and I'm already noticing significant improvement in my pain level, range of motion and flexibility. After years of countless doctors/procedures, physical therapy, etc. , I have found the chiropractor that is finally going to make a difference. Dr. Hooten has changed my families life. i met him 8-9 years ago. We first went to see him because my mom has RA and i had alot of back problems. I cried to go to sleep it hurt so bad. We were shocked that starting care there required us to change our food habits and style of living. We started slowly (it was hard as we cooked alot of mexican food (rice, enchiladas, tortillas,etc.)) My parents and siblings got rid of so many problems and are down to very few medications. We love organic veggies and fruit. My scoliosis is minor now it hurts ever so often but i do not cry myself to sleep. I met my husband 4 years ago and he also started proper care. 3 years later came our beautiful baby girl and not even 24 hours later Dr Hooten came to see us and adjusted her immediately. she has been in his care since day one and I know she will be one of the healthiest babies out there. Dr. Hooten isnt any doctor. He truly cares and treats us like family not like a typical patient as most chiropractors do these days. I dont think any of us can imagine life with out him now!
